The Bible tells us that the right kind of anger is okay, but it points out that it is important to handle our anger quickly and not let it linger, giving the devil an opportunity for us to sin (Ephesians 4:26). I had never read it before.Is there such a thing as “good anger”? Yes, Jesus showed us an anger that was a holy response to sin when He was angry with the religious leaders for their uncaring attitudes toward a sick man (Mark 3:5). Last year, I found the scripture that now rotates in my heart: Be Angry, do not sin (Ephesians 4:26-ESV). Sin becomes the sole resident. Unrighteous anger removes the fruit given to us by the Holy Spirit, stripping away self-control and a sound mind. Unrighteous anger settles in your soul and builds, slowly.
In other words, righteous anger can become unrighteous anger if we are not careful. He had the Lords divine power.Paul writes, Be angry, and do not sin. Jesus was able to be angry and caring at the same time.
